Default 700 Venture Cutting Out

I just purchased a 2001 700 Venture. The sled sat for a few years, it only has 300 miles on it. When I got it I took the carbs off and cleaned them, they looked clean and not gummed up. I also replaced the fuel filter in the tank. The first time out I ran into trouble with it cutting out. It was low on fuel and when I filled it up it seemed to run fine. The next day I ran about 80 miles without trouble and then it started acting up again. It feels like it is running out of fuel. I made it back at 1/8 throttle. If I went 1/4 and beyond it started cutting out. At this time the tanks was full. When I got back I pulled the fuel filter out again and it seemed like it was tangled in the sending unit of the sled. The gas gauge also seemed to never come off full. I was wondering if there is anything I else I could check. I looked for a problem with the pulse line and feed line to the pump. I also ordered a used pump off ebay just to swap out. I will check the vent line to the tank.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

Found the problem, split gas line in the tank right where it connect to the fitting that goes through the tank.
