Well got over 800 miles on the newly extended skid now. With the longer skid and revalved shocks (done last season) it sure rides smoooooth. My buddy who has an 02 Viper standard with orignal shocks comments how bumpy the trail is. I never noticed.

Looks great, I want to do this to my viper this summer. My wife is already rolling her eyes. I think I will go to either 9" or 10" wheels in the back though. Also wondering if you had to drop the skid mounting location or was it just preference?

Needed to drop the rear of the skid. Without the drop the rear did not touch the ground.

Got a rack from a Mtn Vector. Thanks to SK-SXVIPER700 and yamahaboy701 for the idea. Break lite is super bright. Now just need to find a bag to fit in the rack.
