Red face 1000 ft. speed run suspension setup

hey fellas, I'm setting up my suspension for a 1000ft speed run in a couple of weeks. I loosened the front spring preload, tightened the limiter straps, skid front shock is stiff, transfer rods are set for zero transfer and rear shock is a bit loose. Should I adjust my full rate adjuster or just leave it in the middle setting? This is going to be interesting........my wife picked up an 05 F7 EFI that I'm also going to run w/ full exhaust and clutch kit, and am really interested to see how these compare. 2 totally different feeling sleds and each fast in their own way. The SRX with the clutching i currently have seems to have way more out of the hole but then mid range the F7 seems to really scream....I have yet to see top speed on both sleds this year but both speedos have showed around 98-100mph pretty quickly in colder temps. on hard pack then i let off.....havent tried any long lake runs yet

Just trying to get it set up at this point. Some one at bender gave me set up. Not sure its working. Seems to need more bite out of the hole. They told me 1 inch shock shaft showing in front. Crank as much preload in front of skid and 1 1/2 showing rear shock.

Sounds like a good start, You really don't want much ski lift to speak of just enough transfer to make those studs dig in. On good ice it should launch fairly hard. Just be sure those studs are good and sharp....

Have 48 more if I need them. Would like to try to make it work with 196.

196 studs is ALOT of extra rotating weight, not something I would want for for 1000ft speed runs. Drag racing and speed runs are the same as letter A is to letter Z.
    It's just a little 700!
