Show off your Yamaha

Thanks! I've got a before and after of the motor for you. I actually got this machine for installing a privacy fence for my neighbor. She only had 1460 miles but had sat outside under a cover for years. Needless to say every bushing was frozen and it had zero suspension... but it fired right up. Got to redoing the suspension and one thing lead to another. I ditched the red and sprayed her black. Got new decals. Rebuilt the entire skid and front suspension. Went through the motor and installed a new topend. Before I new it I had redone every nut and bolt on her...lmao:mrgreen:

Originally had the GYT twins but they were so badly rusted that I had to junk them. I ended up finding a nice set of PSI twins for 100 bucks on a local Craigslist partout. I also peeled a layer off the head gasket and did the reed cage mod so I'm thinking it should run good for what it is. Was hoping to get her out on the lake today for a little test and tune but the rain we got yesterday screwed that up.

First post here , I have spent most of my time absorbing info on my new to me 92 phazer II le . I got this sled for nothing as the previous owner just wanted it out of his yard. It did run in the fall but the motor didnt sound healthy . It was knocking and missing . So tore the engine down and found back crankbearings and disgusting carbs. Fixed the issues and now it runs great . Looking forward to the first real ride with it this weekend . Well here is the pic.

what seat is on that SXR?

just got mine ready for snow ;)!

Installed the reverse lever and got rid of the parking brake lever setup I had last year, and did an all around to over before the season and got the valves repaired by mr viper.

Why did you get rid of the parking brake lever reverse? I just put reverse on my SRX using your idea of the parking brake lever engage. About to install one on the other SRX.

I really liked it, but every now and then it wouldn't engage, I think mainly because the small reverse gear is a little bit chewed. It was like that when I bought the reverse, but I got it cheap.

this photo was takin riding with my buddy's in western pennsylvania.
