Show off your Yamaha

Now that is sweet amzoil72, I see you're wearing a gopro, any videos? I wonder if they make covers and front end kits for my srx. Never really looked into it. Would I still be able to use my ohlins? Oh, I reread, home made. What did you use for the radius rods? Just some threaded tube? Now I have to make something like that. Did you have to do anything with the rear trailing arm mounts or did the rubber flex enough? 43" c to c or inner ski measurement, Gonna go measure... OK i'm 41 and some change c to c. Adding an inch to each side doesn't seem like too much of a project. I could probably use something like straight thread hex bushings or something. hmmm.

Those headlight covers are made of car headlight tint. Radius rods are made of aluminium tube. Rear trailing arm mount is stock. I think that it is possible to use some hex bushing.

Picked this up a few months ago. Knick that off of my bucket list ;)!

Before and after. It's a 97 vmax sx 600 twin. Not done yet more to come like hand guards, risers, and extension kit and maybe some powder coating.

Very nice vmax 4

Thank You, The engine was opened up back in 94. Pistons were windowed, crank gears welded and reassembled with original parts. Has not been apart since. Now has 9300+ miles on the clock and runs like new.

My river rocket. Fun sled.

Couple of my toys:

Have a few others. Nothing special......couple Ski-doo 380's. 1998 Yamaha 500. Think that about covers it. Sold the 84' Vmax a long time ago. Still have the rest.

Have a write up on building that seat? id like to do something similar myself. but use a tunnel mounted tail light instead.

Unfortunately not. But it was not to hard to do. I had an old ripped up seat that i pulled the cover off. used the stock plastic tray but cut it right where the trunk starts, i glued on 2 layers of 2" foam and shaped it with an old electric turkey carver haha. Had someone else cover it. I think im in it for like $100 all said and done. If you want more pics let me know and i can pull it off and get better pictures.
